The base vehicle

We know that some hirers want the fun of a campervan and one of the most versatile and easy to drive is the 2.5 litre automatic 4X4 Mazda Bongo with all the extras like air conditioning, electric blinds, silver thermal privacy screens and electric roof.  If needed we also hire a small camping trailer as shown in the picture to the right.

Habitation

This Bongo has a high quality mid conversion allowing plenty of sleeping space with further space for your children in the roof, it can actually take 2 adults.  When the roof is not used for sleeping it is a handy store space, a viewing platform and can be unzipped to the fly screens so that the camper cools quickly on those hot Summer days.  

There is a cupboard unit that stores the items that you need for your weekend or even week away. There is a fridge which runs from the vehicle's battery, whilst next to the fridge is a cupboard that houses the gas bottle with an interior shelf and above is the 2 burner hob and to it's left the sink unit. Both the sink and hob have smoked glass lids, which also act as splash guards when cooking or washing up.  When down the glass tops provide extra worksurfaces. The water is pumped from a 12v submersible water pump and the sink has a waste water outlet so no juggling bowls of dirty water! There are also two roof level cupboard units providing extra storage.

To make up the bed the seats fold flat and two extensions are provided to make a nice double bed. When not in use the extension units fit neatly under the rear seat. There is also a laminated table set with a chrome leg that slots into the floor providing a stable table Mabel.  

This conversion was carried out in July '08 by the craftsmen at Manchester Campers using top quality materials!  And just for those balmy evenings when listening to the music there is a wind out Fiamma awning and wind break.

Bongo For Sale

Available February 2011, open to sensible offers over £7k, to include all camping equipment.  Possible earlier sale if the price is right!  Well maintained with many new parts from batteries to suspension parts. Genuine business reason for sale, no problem with the Bongo, in fact it is being replaced by another one.  It will have 9 months tax and 12 months MOT.
